What is the booking procedure for Hajj?

along with a passport valid for 7 months, 3 passport sized photographs and a deposit of £1000. See the online Bookings area for more details.

Are Hajj drafts included in the package?
Hajj fees for Mina, Arafat, Muzalfah and the local transport are all inclusive and paid to the Saudi Ministry off Hajj on behalf of the pilgrim.

Should I take travelers cheques?
No, It is not advised as passport is required to cash drafts, which you will not have in your possession during Hajj period.

What kind of clothing should I take?
The weather is generally quite warm, so take light clothes.

Can I book extra zam-zam?
Yes you can, however there is a cost involved in bringing Zamzam water back to the UK via cargo. This may be arranged via Al Arafah management.

Do you facilitate onward travel from Saudi Arabia, rather than coming back to UK?
Yes, most of the airlines offer onward destinations and will charge an extra amount to facilitate this request. Please contact us for more information.

What are the cancellation charges?
The booking charges in Makkah and Madinah are non-refundable as we have to pay them in advance. However the price of a ticket can be refunded without cancellation charge if it has not been issued.

What are the charges for children and infants?
Full adult Hajj package charges will apply to all children with the exception of air line charges which are 65-70% of the adult fare (if the child is under 12) however the airline charges reduces to 10% + taxes for infants.

What is the minimum time required between booking and departure?
You should allow a minimum time of four weeks.

Will someone accompany us during the Hajj for religious guidance?
Yes, an experienced Alim, fluent in English, Urdu, Pushto, Punjabi and Arabic, will accompany the group.

Are Holy Site visit trips (Ziariat) included?
Ziarats are included in the Hajj package.

I don’t have a British passport – can I get a Hajj visa?
Hajj visa to non-British passport holders is given to those in the following categories:

You have an “indefinite” stamp endorsed on your passport
You are here to stay with your spouse who is a British National
You are here on a work permit.
You are here on a student visa.

Can I perform Hajj more than once?
Yes, you can perform Hajj more than once.

Can a lady travel for Hajj on her own?
No, ladies can not travel on their own. Ladies should travel with their husbands or any of the of the valid mahrams i.e. father, son, brother, grandson, maternal or paternal uncle, grandfather, nephew, father-in-law and son-in-law.

How do I arrange my sacrifice (Qurbani)?
Hajj Qurbani is included in the package, however more can can be arranged if required, at extra cost.

How can I travel for Umrah, in a group package or an individual?
Only requirement for Umrah is that all your accommodation and visa must be arranged through an approved agent, however one can travel on their own or in a group.
